Up in LA finally...

So, it's mid-summer. Moved to a new house in Newport a few weeks ago. It is absolutely amazing. I have my own balcony. Awwwwesome.

Saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Oh god, Johnny Depp. Almost went to the premiere. But that didn't happen. I'll go for The Corpse Bride, though. Since..well...I moved.

I live in the City of Angels now. With my good friend, Jaime. We fucking love it up here. No Orange County drama. No Orange County drama queens. Our friends Rebecca and Haysoos come up all the time and party with us. The people up here are amazing. We met a guy at 3AM the other night, passed out in a flower bed. And then he got up and started singing Oasis with me. Rebecca videotaped it.

We finally got Cable and the Internet up here... But we have a million movies. And downtown Westwood is a 5 minute walk. In n Out is a 2 minute walk. Mmm. I got a new toothbrush. Cause I looove oral hygiene.

My dad has been totally awesome..Jaime and I spent 4 hours at Ikea last week shopping. Spent around $2-3000 so far. All new furniture: amazing new bed with a down comforter, TV stand, new flat screen TV, dresser, nightstand, coffee table with a matching dining room table. Still gotta get the matching chairs and the couch. Can't wait. More shopping. We're always shopping. Yesterday we went to see Bam on Jimmy Kimmel Live..and ended up at a Vons Pavillions in West Hollywood. Jaime felt very uncomfortable when he bent over to get mini pizzas. Hahahahaha it was great. It makes me laugh..that's the only grocery store we're going to from now on.

It's also been way cool leaving at random hours...last night we decided to search for PCH. We took Santa Monica Blvd. down to Ocean Avenue..and finally found PCH. Drove down it for over an hour..ended up in Malibu. Took a left turn into some neighborhood with absolutely no streetlights. And noone had their lights on in their house. It was straight outta a horror movie. We were so scared..and almost got lost. Then we headed back, and took Sunset in search for a Del Taco. Then...I got lost in Chinatown and it was about 2AM. Scary. We found a freeway...and I got lost again in LA county somewhere. Finally, called Ashley and had her mapquest directions back to the apartment.

The OC started filming last week..I can't wait to start working for it. I may become a regular on some other TV show, too. That'll be fun work.

Hmm...tonight, we were walking around UCLA and all of the sudden--sirens started going off as soon as Jaime walked past a pole. We knew it musta been Immigration. So we booked it. And we noticed a golf cart coming towards us. Ahhh good times up here.

Can't wait for this weekend..which actually starts tomorrow when Rebecca and Haysoos come up to party nonstop.
